It made me discover the beauty of participation, of sharing and building a community together in faith. I consider these spiritual gifts the beautiful and benevolent fruits of Fr. Xavier and the Stanford Catholic Community’s tireless dedication to spread and radiate the joy of the Gospel.

I was first drawn to the Catholic Community back in 2013, when I was at the time visiting my company in San Jose from the Munich headquarters. When I then moved to California at the beginning of 2015, I decided to also join the Mass choir playing the violin. During my 4 years playing for the 10pm Mass Choir I have witnessed the beauty and uplift stemming from the joyful sharing of service in faith.

The Catholic Community has always been there, giving us students or fresh graduates at the beginning of our careers the reminder and opportunity to keep faith, service, dedication, generosity, ethics and spiritual depth at the center of our journeys, amid life's fast pace and incessant beat. The legacy of CC@S will stay with me and live on despite my time in California and the US has come to an end.
