Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)
(Children and Teens)
Are you interested in helping your children draw closer to God? We have openings in our religious education program using the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori based international program focusing on prayer, liturgy, and scripture that has been successfully used for over fifty years. Classes are held Sunday mornings after Mass and run from late September to early May. They are held on campus within walking distance of Memorial Church. Parent participation with setup and cleanup is required.
Level 1, ages 3-6: The Good Shepherd Atrium — God’s Love
Level 2, ages 6-9: The True Vine Atrium — Moral Formation
Level 3, ages 9-12: The Golden Thread Atrium — Historical Faith Traditions
Level 4, ages 12-14: Middle School — A Deeper Understanding
Level 5, High School: Living Our Faith
First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation preparation are provided within the program.
