Finding CC@S really helped settle me into college and gave me a support system that helped balance me and put my freshman mind at ease. CC@S has empowered me and given me many gifts over the years, including many friends, mentors, and a comforting sense of community.

As a member of the varsity football team during my time at Stanford, CC@S served our team by offering mass before every game, home and away. In addition to the blessings CC@S has given me, I have been able to find a way to give back to the Stanford community through various ministries of the church. I have been able to serve CC@S as a podcaster early on in college, followed by lectoring, and as a student and currently an alumnus, as a Eucharistic Minister. Being able to give back and serve my CC@S community has given me a sense of worth, service, and gratitude that can only be replicated by serving in these various ways. Reflecting back on my days as part of CC@S, I feel both truly honored and blessed to have been able to find such a warm, welcoming, and fostering community at Stanford. This community has played a major part in developing my Catholic faith beyond high school - away from parents - as an adult and individual. The time period when you are fresh out of high school and embark on your faith journey is a special and unique formative period for the Catholic individual. I am forever grateful to CC@S.
