“Catholic Community at Stanford was one of the first places that I felt at home when I first came to Stanford.”
Early on, Fr. Dominic greeted me by name each week at Mass. I felt seen and valued. Later, Fr. Dominic asked me personally to join the Catholic Leadership Team (CLT). On CLT, I love helping to create the welcoming environment that gave me my home at Stanford. Inspired by Fr. Dominic, I began greeting other students before Mass each Sunday, and I love the surprise and happiness on people’s faces when I recognize them and welcome them by name. I also love our weekly Sunday night dinners when we are on campus. Undergraduates from different academic backgrounds, sports teams, and years come together to share a meal, and meeting other Catholics helps form a strong Catholic undergraduate community that I love being a part of.
