Let’s talk transformation—CC@S completely transformed my Stanford experience, the connections I fostered there, my choice of future career, and, above all, my relationship with Christ. And I could not be more grateful.

Moving from the east coast to Stanford for my undergraduate education was a challenging transition, and one that I may not have overcome without the welcoming support and kindness of CC@S. This special community quickly became my “home away from home.” Through CC@S, I formed life-long friendships, deepened my faith, and developed my passion for ministry and serving others. As an Encounter Christ Small Group Leader, I walked with my peers along their unique faith journeys and realized how much I enjoyed this role of mentorship and communion. After graduation, I continued to serve as the Encounter Christ Small Group Coordinator for Undergraduates, giving back to a community that has given so much to me. My time with CC@S formed me into the greatest version of myself as both a student and disciple of Jesus—it led me to pursue an MD degree at Penn State, where I continue my passion for mentorship, service, and respecting the gift of human life through medicine.

Now, as a second-year medical student and president of the Penn State Catholic Medical Association, I know I would not be where I am today without the extraordinary people and instrumental experiences of CC@S. From stunning services in MemChu, meaningful small group meetings, and thoughtful retreat weekends to lively Praise & Worship nights, impactful volunteer opportunities, and engaging CC@S Special Dinners, I became a stronger champion of my faith and a valued member of a loving, fun, inclusive, and supportive community. I will be a proud, inspired, and grateful member of CC@S for the rest of my life.
