Join fellow community members from Catholic Community at Stanford as we head to Common Roots Farm in Santa Cruz for an afternoon of volunteering on Friday, November 4!

Note: This is a FRIDAY afternoon – we have typically done Saturday mornings, but we are trying something new this month so volunteers will have a chance to meet more of the farm staff and other volunteers that are present during the week.

This opportunity is open to graduate students and young adults, undergraduate students, and permanent community members. Work may include planting, harvesting, working soil, clearing beds, petting chickens, feeding sheep, or whatever needs to be done on the farm that day. The afternoon will begin at 2:30pm and end around 5pm, followed by dinner on the farm. We are unable to provide rides to the farm, but will help volunteers coordinate carpooling. This form will close November 2 at noon to allow us time to plan the meal and coordinate rides.
