In 1968, a young Fr. Joseph Ratzinger, wrote his Introduction to Christianity. In the section, “Excursus: Christian Structures” (pages.182-204) he offers seven principles underlying all Catholic thought and belief. Whatever your theological persuasion, you might find his theological reflection surprising and enriching.
