Please join the Stanford Catholic Film Group on Monday, August 25, to discuss A Matter of Life and Death (1946). A British fantasy, comedic, romantic drama film written, produced and directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, the film stars David Niven, Roger Livesey, Raymond Massey, Kim Hunter and Marius Goring. The discussion will include how films like this have formed popular images of the afterlife.
