Please join the Stanford Catholic Film Group on Monday, May 6, to discuss Of Gods and Men. This moving 2010 film was the true story of nine Cistercian monks living in Algeria, which was caught up in a civil war in 1996. The Brothers have to decide whether to stay at great risk and carry on with their ministry or flee to safety. The film stars Lambert Wilson and Michael Lonsdale. It won the Grand Prix award at the Cannes film festival, and the French César Award for Best Film.
