Two-day workshop—March 2 and March 9, 9am-Noon
Mindfulness, meditation, yoga are excellent spiritual practices proven to improve physical and mental health but there is something more in the Catholic arsenal. In this workshop, we will learn of a variety of Catholic-based approaches for better health and wellness that are receiving more attention and empirical support. The core tenets from Jesuit spirituality we will discuss include seeing God (or the sacred) in all things, attending to the whole person, decision-making using discernment, and ending the Examen. It is a two day event: March 2 will introduce these tools and the evidence for them while March 9 will focus on the sustainable implementation of the tools in everyday life
