(info updated January 30)
Please join year-round community members, grads, and undergrads for "The Accompaniment Project: Help Strengthen the Faith of Others, and of Ourselves" this Saturday, February 3, 8:30-12:30. New participants are most welcome!
How are you currently strengthening your faith? Do you want to bring faith closer to the center of your hearts, careers, and relationships? How might you imagine using “design-thinking” to encourage others to persevere in their search for wisdom and meaning? Can you imagine learning from a movement which helps young Catholics to rekindle their faith, to bring it front and center in their career and relationships?
On February 3, we will assess our commitments, experience how accompaniment connects with growth in faith, and imagine the possibilities flowing from growing into the relationships around us. We will leave the morning with personalized challenges and accountability partners.
The Accompaniment Project, which empowers communities with accompaniment resources, experiences, and thought leadership was founded by Sarah-Marie Chan, a Stanford alumna and Seattle-based entrepreneur. It’s based on the insight that when people face challenges in their faith and they are accompanied by someone who listens, they are able to persevere in their search for wisdom and meaning.
