What is a Posada? Posadas (Spanish word for 'a place to stay') are traditional Mexican festivities celebrated the days before Christmas. They are meant to recreate Mary and Joseph's search for a place to stay prior to the birth of Jesus. The festivity has become a staple of Mexican holiday celebrations, involving lots of singing, eating, sharing, and socializing as a community!
This year we are bringing CC@S's first edition of the Stanford Posada. We will have tamales, Mexican hot chocolate, singing, and more to begin the holiday season!
Invite your friends and please fill out the RSVP form to make sure we bring enough food. Everyone is welcome to join!
