Oriana Li Halevy

Director of Adult Faith Formation

About Oriana

While pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology, Oriana became captivated by the richness and expansiveness of the Catholic intellectual, theological, spiritual, and liturgical traditions. What began as an effort to rebalance her fulfillment portfolio became a journey of midlife conversion.

Her professional background spans corporate law, international business consulting, venture investing, certified interpretation, and published translation. Across her diverse vocations, Oriana invests in both innovation and formation. She serves as a board director and officer of the Harvard Christian Alumni Society, the Harvard Club of Silicon Valley, and Sand Hill Angels; as a trustee of the Sand Hill Angels Charitable Fund; and as an advisor to the Harvard Catholic Forum, supporting initiatives that foster rigorous dialogue across theology, the arts, the sciences, and the marketplace.

Since 2021, Oriana has served the Catholic Community at Stanford in roles ranging from lector and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to co-leading OCIA and mentoring students, postdoctoral scholars, and alumni. As Director of Adult Faith Formation, she guides faith exploration through programs that deepen theological understanding, nurture spiritual maturity, and foster intellectual, spiritual, and ethical formation.

With a son in college and a daughter in graduate school, Oriana is especially passionate about accompanying university students and young professionals as they discern their vocations and integrate faith, reason, and service. She cherishes the opportunity to serve at Stanford while living out the theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity.
