About M’Lis
M'Lis has served Catholic Community at Stanford since 2011 as Director of Mission Advancement. M'Lis works with Stanford alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and students as partners in funding the spiritual, intellectual, and personal growth of Stanford students in their Catholic faith. At CC@S and in her previous tenure at Sacred Heart Schools Atherton, she has had the privilege to lead programs that include a $100 million capital campaign, several major gifts campaigns, annual giving campaigns, donor stewardship, grant writing, and planned giving to foster estate gifts. She helps coordinate communications as well as spearheads the CC@S budget process, acts as the CC@S financial liaison with the Diocese of San Jose and sits ex officio on the CC@S Finance Council. M'Lis began her career first as a Catholic high school English teacher and then as an intellectual property/contracts litigator in Silicon Valley. She earned her J.D. from Santa Clara Law School and her A.B. from Stanford University. M'Lis has two grown daughters and sons-in-law.
