Our Father | Graduate Fall Retreat

November 13–15, 2026 | HI Point Montara Lighthouse
RSVP HERE

The Our Father is among the earliest and most deeply explored prayers in the Christian tradition. Within its few lines, it contains the central mysteries of our faith: a microcosm of our Christian life and prayer. When asked, “Lord, teach us to pray”, his response of the Our Father was not a mere prayer to memorize, but a model for all our prayer – a microcosmic template of all our prayer.

It begins with our identity and posture before God as his beloved children. At its center, “on earth as it is in heaven” reveals our calling to cooperate with God in bringing his heavenly kingdom into this world. And “lead us not into temptation” speaks to the journey of our lives and our ultimate destination. Where are we being led? Toward glory, or away from it?

By the end, you will not only pray the Our Father differently, but be reminded of the mysteries of our faith every time you pray it.

This year's retreat will take place at the beautiful Montara Lighthouse, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We've reserved the entire venue for our community! The weekend will include daily Mass, chant, prayer, Adoration, and hopefully even Adoration outdoors by the beach.

Compared with our Lenten retreat, this weekend will have a more relaxed and social atmosphere. We'll cook and share meals together, enjoy the beautiful coastline, and have time for conversation or silence – up to you. It's a wonderful opportunity for those new to the community to get to know one another and for old friends to reconnect.

Registration: $140 per person, including accommodation, meals, and retreat activities. Private suites are limited and will be prioritized for married couples. Scholarships are available. We don't want cost to prevent anyone from coming!
